Announcing @Scale 2014!

We’re thrilled to announce the latest in our @Scale conference series! On Monday, September 15, more than 800 engineers from the @Scale community will converge on the InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco for a day-long series of deeply technical talks focused on engineering at scale.

The September event will open with a keynote from Facebook’s global head of engineering, Jay Parikh, and then delve into 18 different talks on three different tracks: mobile, data, and web. Participants will discuss the latest developments and challenges in building and testing native mobile apps at scale; developing web-scale analytics infrastructures and data management systems; and evolving and using web technologies in a mobile-first world.

@Scale conferences are open by invitation only to engineers who build or maintain systems that are designed for scale. If you’d like to apply to attend, please like this page to receive an update when the application period opens in July 2014.

Previous @Scale conferences have featured talks from Box, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Square, and Twitter. Here are some videos from previous meetings of the @Scale community:
